Marilyn Brown is a Sister of Mercy. She is passionate about the Care of Creation. Marilyn has been a teacher and a primary health care nurse; and she has also run a  Spirituality Centre at Coolock House, Melville, in KZN.  Last year Marilyn attended a four-day programme on Mercy Global Presence at the Mercy Heritage Centre (Dublin) on Care for Creation.

Mercy Global Presence is a website developed by the Sisters of Mercy in an attempt to address the two major crises in our world at present – the degradation of our home, the Earth; and the cry of the Poor. The title of the Programme suggests that we would like an insight into God’s compassionate love for all of Creation to be shared as widely as possible, and it is thus also a call to action.
