Is Catholic Education distinctive, relevant or even necessary in South Africa today? Can we forge identity whilst being inclusive?
How does an evolving understanding of catholic education shape my own spirituality?
I hope to share some perspectives on education as well as faith formation through an interactive presentation drawing from different media.

Evona Rebelo currently coordinates the work of the Catholic Schools Office Cape Town. She has been involved in faith formation and education for close on thirty years and has taught in a number of schools within the archdiocese. She has also worked in teacher training at the University of the Western Cape. She holds a Masters and PhD in Education. She is a mother and wife and coordinator of the Edmund Rice Network SA (Christian Brothers).
